I started a new animation last week (also a music video).
Any thoughts as far as this style goes? I have to keep things SUPER SIMPLE because it's a 4 minute video and I want to get it done before spring. The animation won't be complex and awesome, but the overall effectiveness of the piece will be in its concepts and humor... I'm trying to maintain a clean simple style that's easy to animate.

Your stuff is good enough for me and your sense of humor is sexcellent. The only thing I would truly like to know is who made that "bad cop - no donut" song. Got a link or anything like that? I just can't get it out of my head.

I can't find a place to buy their music though... maybe Amazon?
Next song comin' up will be sorta like Weird Al in humor. This one will have a lot more lyrics, etc. :D

Hopefully by weird, you mean 'unique'. I emulated another style on my last upload and it evoked some harsh reactions from fan-boys. :D
I like the style you're going with and that toaster looks amazing. I think you've accomplished what you were trying to achieve - a simple clean style. It's easy on the eyes and it looks pretty flexible and unique. :) Best of luck!
Thanks for taking the time to share some thoughts, helps me stay motivated =)) Stay tuned, I'll get this thing done yet, even while working me tail off in my stupid day job... It's like almost everyone has one - a stupid day job... :D
I agree :] It will do fine so long as you can hold the viewers attention :P take some of explosm for example lol talk about SIMPLE! hahahaa! you'll be fine :D

as long as things move in the scene (more than just smoke coming out) I'd say it's pretty neat! the animation and movement don't have to be amazing as long as things move especially in a fast pace music video where scenes could fly by pretty quickly. Good work though I like the style of the man. he looks very flat

thanks! on average each scene is 2-3 seconds long, but the scenes are inter-related so it doesn't seem to move too fast. i make sure that there's always something moving, if only a little bit. in this scene, he flips the bacon into the air, catches it, then pushes the toast into the toaster. :D [This is in the opening part, so it gets much more interesting of course, no need to just animate some dude having breakfast]
